CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'. This is what i typed in Google to solve the my problem. But Unfortunately, no results gave me the perfect answer. But what i was able to figure out is that i need sysadmin rights in sql server studio. So then i searched for add current user to sql server sysadmin role. And Bingo !!! I got the answer on first hit. And guess what, i found a script and i simply had to run it.

Run the script and it will ask you for the SQL Server instance name. If you don't know the name then just hit the enter.

Puzzle

Question : 2 bottles(A and B) of 10L,each containing 10 liter water is given to you.You also have 2 empty bottles of 5 liter and 4 liter respectively.Fill the empty bottles with 3 liter water without wasting any water.

Answer : You can get answer by trial and error method.But rather than that you should try to get answer more intuitively.

You can achieve the solution by posing the problem like this..

1)Get 3 liter water in 5L bottle and Keep 9 liter in one 10L bottle.So you can empty 1 liter from full 4L bottle hence measuring 3 liter in 4L bottle.From above discussion 2 question arises.

1.How to get 3 liter in 5L bottle?
2.How to get 9 liter in 10L bottle(A)?

Answer to 1st question :
To get 3 litter in 5L bottle,you need to get 2 liter in 4L bottle(I hope you got this idea.). 

How to get 2 liter in 4L bottle?

Pour 5 liter to 5L bottle from 10L bottle(A). You can get 1 liter in 5L bottle by emptying 5L bottle in 4L bottle.
Now pour 1 liter water from 5L to 4L bottle.(Before that empty 4L to 10L bottle(A). ( 10L bottle(A) now contains 9 liter water.Answer to Question 2 )

Pour 5 liter from 10L bottle(B) (not the one we used before) to 5L bottle. Empty full 5L bottle to 4L bottle(which contains 1 liter water). So,5L bottle contains 2 liter.

Empty 4L bottle to 10L bottle(B). Pour 2 liter to 4L bottle from 5L bottle.
Pour 5 liter from B to 5L bottle.Empty 5L bottle to 4L bottle.So,5L bottle now will contain 3 liter water.
At last,Pour 1 liter water from 4L bottle to 10L bottle(A).

Classic 25 Horse Race Problem :

You have 25 horses and a race-track on which you can race among at most 5 horses.Outcome of a race only tells you the relative speeds of the horses in the race.At least how many races are required to find 3 fastest horse?

Ans : 7 races

• Divide the horses into 5 groups of 5 horses each.(Randomly)
• Make a race among each group.(Total 5 races.)
• Now you can eliminate 2 horses from each group which came 4th and 5th in their group race.(Reason : Horses which are 4th and 5th fastest in their group can't be in top 3 among all horses.)(15 horses left)
• Make a race between winners of each group.(6th race)
• The winner of the race will be the fastest horse among 25 horses.(14 horses left - fastest horse has been decided)
• Now you can eliminate horses which came 4th and 5th in race and their respective group also.(8 horses left - fastest horse has been decided)
• The horse which came third in the 6th race is the only candidate from its group.(Reason:It is the fastest in its group.It came third so others in the group will not be fastest 3 horses.)(6 horses left - fastest horse has been decided)
• The horse which came second in the 6th race and its successor in its group are only candidate,the third horse of this group will be eliminated.(5 horses left - fastest horse has been decided)
• Make a 7th race between Second and third fastest horse of a group whose fastest horse came first in 6th race,Runners up of 6th race and second fastest of its group,Second Runners up of the 6th race.
• The result of the 7th race will decide the second and third fastest horse.

How to unlock a Folder Lock

Folder Lock is very popular, today we are going to crack the password of the folder lock.

I always knew that password must have been stored in Registry somewhere,and with little bit of search,i finally found the registry key where the password is stored.
Here is a trick to unlock a folder lock.

First open REGEDIT by typeing on RUN command, and go to the following path :[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\QualityControl]


If you dont find _pack key in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE...try to find out it in HKEY_CURRENT_USER..
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\QualityControl]

Then search for the key "_pack" - this key contains your password but in encrypted form....

That's how we will decrypt it...

Ignore sign ~~~~ , example covert "zbkb~~~~~~~ " to "zbkb" 
REVERSE the encrypted password.... in this case "zbkb"  becomes  "bkbz" 
REPLACE each character by it's previous character.Example: "b" becomes "a" , "k" becomes "j"...
In our examples..."bkbz" becomes "ajay". It is our password....


Summary of steps:
Original _pack key....."zbkb"
1) Reverse Key....."zbkb" to "bkbz"
2) Replace each character by it's previous character.
   "bkbz"  to "ajay"


Special note....
1) a space becomes......"!" character...
2) if a number is used in password then replace it by previous number..
3) if a special character is used then u have to find out its ascii value then replace the character with
    character having ascii value just one less then our encrypted character.

We got 2 to 8 at night downloading free but the problem is who wants wake up at 2 o'clock and then again wake up at 8 o'clock to turn off computer.

But after some searching i got a solution.

Just download utorrent or IDM.(Downloader software).

And Download AutoPowerOn-Shutdown software By Clicking here

Step-1
In AutoPowerOn-Shutdown software go to new task and check mark on Run Program.Browse the exe path of utorrent or IDM.And set time to 2.00 AM.

Before that add downloads to utorrent or IDM.

Step-2
Again in AutoPowerOn-Shutdown software add new task of hibernate at 8.00 AM.
and you are all done.

So before you go to sleep , put your PC into hibernate mode and this software will start utorrent at 2.00 o'clock and will put your PC into hibernate mode at 8.00 o'clock.

Enabling Hibernate :
1) Go to desktop.Right click on desktop and click on property.
2) Go to ScreenSaver tab and click on Power.
3) Go to Hibernate tab and check mark on Enable Hibernate.

So, when u click on turn off button,press shift to see hibernate option or simply press H to go into Hibernate mode.

Hibernate modes is similar to shut down computer and uses no power.

Finally England conquers World Cup after 35 years

                Beaten by Pakistan in 1992 World Cup Final,till then England never had made to ICC World Cup Final.But the curse ended on 16th May,2010,As England team reached the final of World T-20 lead by Paul CollingWood. And also went on to win the trophy by beating Australia convincingly in the final.
                 Ian Chappel said that "This is most confident England side i have ever seen." Kevin Peterson was in the form of  his life during the T20 WC.KP, Eoin Morgan and Graham Swan were the main players of the team.They sailed their team through to the world cup trophy and their hunt for major ICC trophy ended after 35 years.
                Though KP was in the form of his life and had played match winning innings for england in semis and finals, Eoin Morgan really made his mark in the team and impressed everyone with his innovative shots and his calmness under tense situations.He is the find of the tournament.He is the batsman to watch out for in the future. 
                England had tough situation during league round. As they lost their first match against west-indies.England batting first made 191 but because of rain west-indies got new target of 60 from 6 overs and they reached the total with ease.Then the second game against ire-land was washed out due to rain. So without winning any game in league stage,England with better runrate were through to super eight.
                England then never looked back and reached to semis by winning all three matches in super 8s.In this run they first won against Pakistan(defending champions) followed by win against South Africa and New-Zealand.They then beat Srilanka to reach to Finals against Australia (their traditional rivals).
               The final was very one sided as England chased down 148 runs with 18 balls to spare.Craig Keisswetter got the man of the match award and Kevin Pieterson was announced Man of the Series.It was double bonanaza for KP as he also become father during the series.

MBT AT SVIT-VASAD 2010

Our PPT time for MBT was 12.30.The PPT began at sharp 12.30.

The eligibility crieteria was -

1)10th,12th,Diploma(if any) required 60% 
2) B.E. aggregate 58%.


The exam consisted of 6 sections.All were objective types of questions.

Duration : 60 minutes
Questions : 100

The first 3 sections were  : 1)Verbal Reasoning(20 que.)
                                         2)Non Verbal Reasoning(35 que)
                                         3)Quantitative(15 que)
They will make total marks of this 3 sections.

The last 3 section were :  1)English-1(10 que)
                                       2)English-2(10 que)
                                       3)English-3(10 que)
 They will make total marks of this 3 sections.

The cut off was for first 3 section and last 3 section.There was no negative marking.

The paper was quite easy.But you need to be a little quicker than others.
The results were declared in just 15 minutes.Luckily i was selected.

There were two interviews:1)Technical 2)H.R.

I really performed poorly in Technical.First he asked about my family-background.As i said i m from anand.He asked me who was founder of AMUL dairy?i said i don't know.Then
H.R. : what ur fav subject.
me :operating system.
H.R. : whats the diff between linux and windows?
me: i dont know.
H.R.: how unix manages multi-user enviorment.
me : i don't know.
H.R. : difference between ROM and RAM.
me : i answered.
H.R. : what u know about MBT..
me :  bla..bla..
then he said u can go now...
After 15-20 minutes H.R. came and said i was not selected.

There was H.R. round after that.they will call u in group of 4 and u have to speak on your fav topic for 2-3 minutes.

How to crack GATE-2011

First you need to fill up the Gate form...from that the journey begins...you can get it from canera banks..forms are published in nov-dec...

You will get a brochure with it and with details of your corresponding course's subjects.The topic wise description is given and you strictly need to follow the syllabus.

Now you can start reading after knowing what to read....You can start with your subject's books that you have or some other reference books if you need.Try to grasp the basics..how things are coming, whats happening and because of what..you need to understand the basics..and you are all done.

after you have covered one topic or section entirely ,you can go for previous years GATE's papers question form this topics..The best way to find out is..."GATEFORUM  MATERIAL" ..They have separate books for each subject and given previous year's questions sorted according with subjects..so you can practise those..and solutions are also given with explanations..some answers are wrong but you can manage those if u have learned the basics well..

Go step by step...don't try to learn fast..go slowly and try to understand as much as you can ,this will help you very much if u r facing new questions in GATE exam.

 Listen,if you can't finish whole syllabus it's fine...but if you have prepared for any topic then you should be able to answer all the questions from it..that's the secret key...

You will not see high scores in GATE..so make sure whatever you prepare..you prepare them entirely..otherwise don't prepare...

Fair Matrix offered package of 1.44 lack and job location was at ahemdabad.

There were series of test :
1)Aptitude Test (50 Question - 1 hour)
2)Technical Test (25 Question - 50 minutes)

Aptitude Test :

1)Six question in first section.One statement was given,which is true that we have to assume.3 conclusions were given and we have to answer which conclusion is correct.like either one or two or both or all of them.Options were given.

Example :

Statement : You can earn lot of money in business.But people still prefers jobs.

Conclusion : 1) Business is risky.
2) Jobs r available.
3) something was there not remember

Placement Paper of Torrent Power Ahemdabad,Surat

For IT/CP :

There were two test series:

1)Psychological test of 60 question.Time : 15 min
2)Technical+Aptitude of 100 question.Time : 60 min

Both were objective types.

1)Psychological test :

It was just a formality.Be honest and give answer.
Some questions :
for below questions options were : never, sometimes, rarely, often

1) You notice your negative behavior when u r under pressure.
2) You focus on your negative points rather than positive points.
3) You don't show ur emotions at work or home.

2)Technical + Aptitude test :

Passing criteria : 50% marks in both technical and aptitude section
Questions : 24 technical questions and 76 aptitude questions

Technical :

It was a bit easy. Questions were  based on Oracle,C++,JavaScript.

Some questions :
I don't the remember the options.

1)The syntax of for loop in java script ?
2)In c++,the default access specifier of class is ?
3)what is task of transport layer?


Aptitude :

Questions were very easy.But you need to attempt 76 so don't try to attempt the one which are a bit confusing.There were lot questions that took only few seconds to get solved.

Some questions :

1) Bhanu spends 30% of his salary on petrol and 1/4 of the remaining on food.If he spends 300 on petrol,how much he spends for food ?
Ans. 700/4=175

2)Series... 100,81,64,?
Ans. 49 (too easy)
One was the same as above but it was cube rather than square.

3)Clock started at noon.Now its 5.10 pm.What is angle that hour hand has covered ?
Ans. 155 degree

4)if today is monday.What will be the day after 48 days.
Ans. Sunday. (7*7=49)After 49 days it will be monday.
